makes me sad

I've actually seen first hand much worse.... shame though

- from the pics, there are quite a few salvagable cars in there. dents +rust do not equal garbage. Here in the rust belt, we'd be happy for some of thoes as a start.

No....! this can't be happening... if I could only save them all..

maybe we should all chip in $5 and buy the guys land? between here an the mustang forum, and all the various muscle car forums, as I think theres more than just fords there...I think we can do it...? lol.

I saw a crazy video a while ago of some rich old guys warehouse of cars. This guy had all kinds of rare classic cars covered in dust and dirt, some cars were classic 60's cars, and others were from the 20's. Everything from classic domestics, to vintage Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguars and anything else you could imagine. In total this guy had over 150 cars stored in a warehouse, never to see the light of day again. What a waste. The guy died of old age and the new owners of his property found the warehouse of cars, after they removed the wood covering the doors.

My girl and I were driving through northwestern FL, and drove past a bunch of old Ford trucks rusting away on the side of the highway. There were about 25 of them in a line and then 4-5 randomly behind it. Obviously not the same amount (or quality of cars) on that guys land but weird nonetheless.

Most of those cars probably aren't worth dick. It would cost a lot more to restore them than you could sell them for. Unless you found some guy who doesn't know anything about classic cars and just likes the way they look.
