Clarion speakers- good or bad?

I've been looking at getting a couple sets of Clarion 6.5's, and i'm not very familiar with Clarion. Anyone had any experience with them? are they good?

What do you want to achieve with these speakers? How do you "want" them to sound?

they're going to be in a rockbox, so pretty much just loud, crisp and clear

the model number is srr-1686. i'm very unfamiliar with Clarion, so any help would be greatly appreciated

Those would be a very good choice for a coax speakers. I've been looking at the 5 1/4" version for my wife.

Yes they are the US line.

The German and Canadian lines are better. Why we get the weakest line Idk?

I recommend the Skar Audio 6.5cs. Great product, great owner.
