i just have them hooked up to there own channel. directly. havent thought about hooking them up as 2 ohm. ok thanks. if i wanted to make it 2 ohm would i hook a positive of one of my subs to the negative of the other the hook to positive on the one to the positive on the amp then the negative of the other to the negative on the amp?

You'd have to make sure your amp is 2 ohm stable when bridged if you're going to do this.

if youre doing 2 CVXs, buy 2 dual 4 ohm subs and buy an amp that does at least 1000 watts at 1 ohm.. if you get an amp that does 1000+ at 2 ohms, buy dual 2 ohm subs. no lie youll be much happier with more power. i ran 1K to 1 CVX and it was fine as well as with my old L7 (same motor diff cone).

Like I said before, I'm more than happy feeding both of mine only 600 or so watts. But then again, I'm not looking to set off alarms and whatnot. I just want them to sound decent, and with the low amount of power I'm feeding them, they do sound rather clean. You wouldn't guess they're Kicker.
