I wasn't talking about your comment. It seems people on here really hate Kicker subs for some reason.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I do love my "round L7s". They may not get as loud as an L7, but they sure do play a lot cleaner.

Yeah it seems like a lot of people do. i know some of my friends do. I used to think they werent that powerful and didnt put out that much sound for the power rating until i made a box specifically for my friends kickers comps and they sounded really good. they were almost as loud as my 2 jbl gtos...until i put mine in a diffrent box. hah. but still for less then half of the power rating very pleased.

As long as that's brand new and not refurb, that's not bad at all. I got mine through accommodations with Kicker for a little less than that when I had a job at Circuit City.

With audio its hard to please everyone. there are sooo many oppinions on every brand. some people have good luck with certain subs and others dont. then thats when the rumors start and sometimes they get around very well. like about kicker.

sweet. ive thought about working at an audio store or a place that sells audio stuff that way i can get subs for pretty cheap...even though i have connections with harmen Karden so i can get jbl and infinity really cheap.

Well, if you're going to get CVXs, you'll need more power. 700w is only enough for one, really. I said CVRs because they'll do a good job of making the most of the power you've got now.

I figured id upgrade my amp if i got the cvxs but im pretty sure my amp will push 700 by both channels. I have the jbl gto 700.1 amp. From everything ive heard about jbl amps i hear they push good.
