Clarion NX409 double din?

So I had an offer for someone to trade me their clarion nx409 for my alpine cda-9886. Is this a fair trade? Does clarion make good double din head units?

clarion isn't too bad. i never had the double din, but their cd head unit did well. i was also surprised at their subs. my cousin has a clarion sub which i built a box for. it sounds surprisingly good. i expected it to be a far cheaper sounding sub. their equipment doesn't seem too bad all the way around.
