Clarion NX-500 Sub Output Mono?

If the Clarion NX-500 manual is labeled Sub 1 and Sub 2, does that mean it's stereo?

I'm connecting to a mono amp and a DVC subwoofer, so do I need to use a RCA Y-adapter or anything and leave one of the RCA's disconnected?

I remember my old Clarion had pretty good crossover controls, this one is ****.

you wont need a y adapter just leave the unused side disconected
