Clarion DXZ955MC vs eclipse cd8445

Have the deck for a bit before it really pooped on me. Im going to file a damage claim with usps because i believe broke on the shipment. Well while this unit is being fixed i want to try out the Clarion DXZ955MC. does this higher end clarion model match up to the eclipse. apparent difference is that the eclipse has an 8v preout. How about Sq wise???

i have the clarion 955, all the features on it are really cool, very easy to use, but i do believe the adjustments on it are not up to the eclipse quality, sounds very good though
