Clarion DXZ475MP.. any good?

I'm seriously looking at this unit to go into my Scion xB:

It has all the right features and none of what I don't need; amber lighting, detachable face, and OEM steering wheel hookups. I'm sure the sound quality is sufficient for my needs, as I will be running all external processors.

So, is this a quality unit? The price is right and I can obtain it and have it installed locally, but is there something else I should look at as well?

Looks like a nice basic HU. I have a Clarion 765MP from last year and I love it, you should be happy with that one.

Looks to me to be a nice deck. 4V pre-outs will help with your AMPs and my 758MC has been just great.

I install tons of Clarion..

They work great & the customer service is awsome..

If you ever have a problem they will make sure its right..

I would not hez to get a Clarion HU..

the bad thing about it is it doesnt have 3 pairs of preamp outputs - only 2 pair.

I really only need one. The preamp output will go straight to a PPi PAR-245, then on to a DEQ-230, then a crossover, then the amps...
