I have a APA450 CLarion Amp. I was thinking about installing a sub so I can give my duaghter the 2 6x9's. Its 4 channel, and if I bridge the rear speaker connectors does anyone know if it would have to be a 8ohm or 4ohm sub? Ill only be running one sub. It doesnt say in the owner manual and on clarions sight I dont see anywhere to email them to ask..thanks for any help:)

well, if 4ohm will get really hot, would it be better to run an 8ohm? SO far this amp is pretty cool....doesnt get that hot to the touch at all.

Im in southside of jax

Hmmmm...now Im second geussing this .... The system sounds gret to me like it is. I dont like thumping bass, I like tight clean bass and thats why I went with 2 Blaupunkt 6x9 set on LP. Most of the sound comes out of the front speakers set on HP. Together it sounds great. Was just thinking about going to a sub and giving my daughter the 6x9 for her car. Dont really like the sounds of the extra heat. Heat wears down electronics. I was thinking about going with a 8" sub in a sealed enclosure.....tight clean bass. Will this still make it relly hot on the amp? Where on the southside? im on parental home road
