I bought an Australian Clarion V-Net 4 channel amp, and need help on getting 100% of the power potential out of this beast.
the RMS power rating is 150Watts per channel brigdeable to 300watts RMS 2 channel all at 4 ohms. the amp is 2 ohm stable. roughly, how much power output per channel bridged would the amp be capable of running 2ohm. i will be running 1 dual voice coil 2ohm+2ohm sub (not chosen yet) and plan to run the 1st and 2nd channels bridged and the 3rd and 4th channels bridged to both voicecoils @ 2ohms each.
will this work?
and how much power should i be looking at?
as i am matching sub, for amplifier i already have, i need power output to work out the most suited sub for my SPL purpose.
ANY HELP GREATLY APPRICIATED!!!
specs:
channels: 4
RMS/ channel: 150 @ 4ohms
RMS Bridged: 300x2@4ohms
amp is 2 ohm stable
amp fuse rating: 120amps
