clarification needed on bi-amping...

Say I have a four channel amp that is rated at 50x4@4ohms and 150x2@4ohms and I use a passive setup I'm getting 150x2, but if I use an active setup where the two tweeters and two mids are each getting their own channel am I correct in that each side would only be getting 100 watts? That seems right to me, but I want to make sure.

I haven't bi-amped a component set yet, but I'm pretty sure the mid and tweeter recieve about equal wattage, so with 150x2 it would be divded between the woofer and the tweeter for 75w each, where as if gave each a seperate channel on that amp it would be 50w each. I could be wrong. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I thought so, but figured I'd make sure. I was looking at a set of components with a 150watt RMS rating so for them I would just use the provided crossover, but another set I was looking at is bi-ampable with a RMS rating of 100watts. Basically either would be well matched for my amp, I'd just get more power out of the first set.
