Get the load down to 2-Ohms and you will se a pretty substantial power gain.

The amp is very efficient and will most certainly produce a lot more power then indicated in the manual.

Tested useing 50Hz sine......and NO CLIPING. Was tested at 1.8 Ohms Bridged.

Snap-On Vanatge. They are now considered out of date and can be bough used off a Snap-On truck for $350-600 depending on how up to date the automotive software is, it just happens to have a NICE O-scope,and will test just about ANY thing you could ever want to.

That sounds about right. I did that test last summer to shut a guy up at like 11Pm. The van was off durring testing so voltage started around 12.8 and would have droped to about 11.4......only had 2 batterys per amp at the time.

The ONLY down side of the amp I found was getting the lower ohm loads BEFORE it would go into protect.........not like I EVER took it below the rated ohm load for testing though.............

ok, it says rated at 3200x1 channel at what load though???... seems like if your electrical was upgraded, you'd almost get that @4 ohms!!

Is it 1 ohms stable??

This amp is a DUAL mono block SUPER D......it has 2 D class amps straped inside to start. The rateing is 3.2K@2homs OR 1.6K@1 ohm X2.

The amp protects at 1.6ohms bridged IF you can feed it power....1.9 with MOST eletric systems....higher ohm IF you are short on power.

I have tested the CRAP out of these things at about EVERY ohm load you could think of. I have YET to see the amp be able to carry a LOW ohm load, the power IS there BUT above 2 ohms. From MY own testing AND others testing(that I know) the common agrment is IF...IF..IF you COULD get it to carry a 2.1-2.3 REACTIVE ohm load it would do it's FULL power. BUT the amp is VERY hard to get below 3 ohm's......it's like it's 3+ OR protect at 1.6ISH. The amps just dn't find a happy medium in the 2's. I have burped this amp BELOW .7 BUT my rise was HUGE, don't try that at home KIDS.

I DO know that the amp don't like to up the amps much over 32 and voltage over 100...out put of course. That was with a REAL stiff eletric system....voltage droped around 13.9 BUT it took OVER 400 amps draw to do that AND was NOT able to be held very long. This amp just seems to be happy with 2.4-2.8K RMS . It has more BUT it is hard to get out of it.

I'm sure if the stars algn and the wind was right it COULD do almost 4K on say 16 Volts.......as I DO KNOW they work MUCH better at higher input voltage.
