Civic Hatch Mechman alty install.

Finally after dealing with belts i got the alty on. It's a direct bolt on 150amp for my 91 civic hatch. It produces its full output at 800RPM i belive, and has good output at an even lower RPM. My charging rate went from 12.8 with the stock alty and im getting 14.8 now. This is my second alty from Mechman and im sure ill be happy with this one. Here are some pics.

Argh, I feel your pain with belt issues. My stock 31.5" belt was too big, so I ordered a 30" belt based on the different pulley sizes and it had to be ordered because it wasn't a "normally stocked item". Well, it was too small, so I went back and purchased a 31" belt from Autozone. It fit perfectly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If anyone needs a 30" Goodyear Gatorback 4 rib belt (Model 4040300), PM me. I'll let you have it for the price of shipping! It is doing me no good because it falls under that BS "no returns on special order items" policy

Yep. I tryed 4 different belts before i got the right one. Even then i had to shave down my top mounting bracket a bit to get the belt tight. Its on there, thats all i can say lol.

HO Alts also makes great Alts for those cars...(well all crx's and civics...out of a small case gm alt)

Believe it or not, our "pancake" style large case unit fits better than the small case GM alt, and makes WAY more low RPM ouput than a small case GM could ever hope to.
