As someone else said, I think the liquidators want to milk whatever cash they can out of this before they do the final firesale to empty the stores out. First week or two the sales were a joke but I've gone every couple weekends since then. The percentages off keep getting bigger and bigger but they're messing with the price before they mark it down. However, the final sale prices are edging lower little by little from week to week. Everything in caraudio was 30% off 2 weeks ago, it's now 50% according to the commercial.
Funny: The one near me is flooded with Indians, Asians, what sound like jews, and senior citizens tryin to haggle for more off and complaining out loud because everything hasn't been knocked down to like a dollar yet. It doesn't even seem like they'd normally have a need for or be interested in most of the stuff they're lookin at. I watched some Indian dude badger a saleslman working the floor for like 10 minutes last weekend about whether he'd be willing to install a head unit for him on the side for some cash.
I may buy a second TV but Im mainly hopin to snap up certain Pioneer HUs if the price gets right while they still have some left. It's like a big standoff, the store is tryin to get people to buy stuff at the inflated sale prices and customers are mostly waiting to drop big cash till it's almost time to close the doors.
