circuit city

NO WAY!! i hate BB or CC. every time ive ever gone there or known of someone who went there. there has always been a problem. IMO its pretty easy putting in a HU, just buy the wire harness and mounting kit and im sure youll be fine. hope this helps!

I had them put my old one in when they had their "Free CD Player Installation" thing going on...then all you gotta do is buy the wiring harnesse and trim kit and boom, it's in...didn't have any troubles with mine when CC put it in.

I worked at CC for a couple years. As far as a HU install goes it's all about who puts it in. They do a high volume of HU installs so they definitely have experience in HU installs which is good, so I'd let them install a HU in a second. Custom jobs are another story though. But I sure do miss being able to get all audio equipment at sore cost....45-60% off the tag price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ....good thing I cleaned house in home audio before I left though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

my friend works for CC, he got me a CDA-7894 for 231....god i love it.

I disagree...BB & CC do HUGE volume in deck installs, they get good training & have all the parts you could imagin at their disposal. Also, most of them are MECP certified. although, just like any shop, I wouldn't trust all of them, Find out Which installers are MECP certified, and ask to be present during the installation, this way you learn, and they won't screw you.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i was a lead installer at best buy for two years while going to engineering school. i encourage trying it yourself first but be careful.

let me know what kind of car and i can tell you if it is worth the 35.00 or not.

as for those who put down best buy and c. city installers fu. most of us including myself used to manage or work at custom shop who pay crap money and no bene's.

bb. and cc. pay great money and bene's no training though

of all the installs bb and cc does millions you only hear the bad stories

\

trust me custom shops make mistakes too

I was also a lead installer at store 597 in Erie, PA. We had some decent training with rockford technicians, and sony technicians. And we had to get MECP 1st class certification within our first year. Although I wouldn't trust just anyone, no matter what shop you go to.

the best thing about car audio is installing the ****.. to me.. sometimes.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif
