Circuit City...MTX?

I went to Circuit City the other night to get an amp for a chick who bought my Kickers. They had some MTX amps which I'd never seen before. I asked the guy about them and he said...MTX specially makes these amps just for sale in Circuit City stores.

Could he have lied just to make a sale? Doesn't make sense, the brand should sell itself.

I actually work at a Circuit City and that MTX line is exactly the same....the only difference is the physical appearance....the circuitry is identical!

I hope you did not pay 359 plus tax for that. I got a 1501D for 339 shipped -- just my 2 cents, but I don't think I would buy anything in a retail store.

I have never heard of mtx making amps just for cc but what do i know? but almost 400 for 600 watts is very pricey to me. Mtx makes great amps dont know if i would pay that much but hey if she got a great deal then good for her.

some companies do make exclusive lines for retailers.

i dont believe that those mtx amp are exclusive to cc, i think those are the new thunder series, unless they are exclusive.

but they are pretty good, and very afordable especially from a retailer.

a guy at CC told me the same thing about a line of MTX amps for CC only. 4002, 4004, I'm not sure of the other models.

Yes, the new MXA Series amps are designed for Circuit City in the USA.

7 models for now.

MXA4001, MXA6001, MXA8001

MXA3002, MXA4002

MXA4004, MXA6004

We still have the Current Thunder Amplifiers avialiable thru all other USA retailers.

Well, I obviously saw them in person. The look just like the old 81000D's only the black part and the shiny part are in different places.
