Circuit City...MTX?

The MTX line is not worth the money in my opinion. I bought and 801D and it quit working after 3 weeks. I am just not big on the retail store car audio, but they can have good deals if you look hard enough

Granted the 801d and that whole line hasn't been as popular as the earlier models, I agree with Jmac, I've had my 81000d for over a year now and it still works like new.

I hope you did not pay 359 plus tax for that. I got a 1501D for 339 shipped -- just my 2 cents' date=' but I don't think I would buy anything in a retail store.[/quote']while i am an e-store/ebay ***** myself, i would never buy online vs. authorized with CC (which has by far one of the best return policies) for a measly $20 savings....$100 would be a go, but not a few pennies

the MXA series is actually pretty nice. aesthetically is pleasing, and seem to be the same good stuff from mtx.

price is pretty good i say, esp for retail. i believe they go for like $240 for the 4001 and $280 for the 4002
