circuit city amazes me!

i worked on a car the other day that circuit city put a complete system in. the car was a 2004 grand prix. anyway the installer couldnt find anywhere to run the power wire through the fire wall so he ran it through the door jam and then made the customer sign a paper saying they were not responsible if it caused any problems. I am so glad they are closing in a couple weeks

why wouldn't they just drill a hole and put a grommet? they were prolly using some cheapo 8ga wire anyhow.

Sometimes ill run it through the door jamb depending on the situation. Ive ran into a few cars where factory wires are ran through a grommet in the door jamb that runs into the fender well/under the hood. That has been a good spot to run wire when i find cars like that. Ill have to get pics so i dont get flamed.
