Cigars

Tobacco companies cannot alter the amount of nicotene outside of regulating how much tobacco is in each cigarette, and in that case they have to find a balance between cost and having enough to satisfy the customer.

The reason people get hooked on cigarettes more so than cigars is the idea that much more of the nicotene enters the blood stream, and on a much more frequent basis.

To the man who said there was no nicotene in cigars, what? That's just looney talk man. Tobacco companies don't add nicotene, they add fillers (which are more responsible for cancer)....which are often some pretty hardcore chemicals.

When I was in Jamaica cuban cigars were cheaper than jamaican ones- they had to export the jamaican cigars and then re-import them due to some law- or they could just import cubans- it was a pretty swank hotel, so I believe them. Didn't think it was any different than any other cigar- they are just more expensive here because of a retarded antiquated embargo. Cuba will be really screwed if the embargo is lifted- there won't be a huge price commanded anymore- they will have to compete on quality rather than myth and placebo effect. (cubans are rare in the US and expensive so they must be the best) But then I'm not a cigar guy, so WTF do I know?

Well the R&J i had must have been a dominican, i didnt know they were soposed to be cuban in the first place. I bought the R&J at the same time as this Cisso Cigar which is made locally. the guy at the smoke shop said that he has had many loyal R&J smokers switch over to the Cisso, and he gave it to me free to try. id rather smoke the cisso anyways, it just seems cool to me that they are being hand rolled right in the city.

And no, im not trying to be some badass. Its not like i pull up to school smokin, its just me and my buddy smoking alone. it actually all started when i bought him the Onyx for his B day, then we just wanted to try to find some other nice ones.

So should i be looking for the CAO's? the Cohibas are illegal correct? Id rather stick to the cheaper dominicans than get a huge fine.

My top 3 favorite Cigars...

1) Cauvacia (pronounced Ca Voss Ee Ay - dont know how to spell)

2) Maker's Mark

3) Some Random one i had at a buddies house...mmmmmm

I have never had a cuban, never had enough money to buy one so I could not add that to the list, as i have not ever tried it

people i know have started smoking cigarets as young as 12. not that thats a good thing, but it happens. Ive never smoked a cigarette, not will I ever smoke one. When it comes to drugs (including tobacco) i will basically try anything, but not if its highly addictive. i also seem to have quite a bit of self controll. i smoked weed for a year almost every day, and one day i decided to quit, and havent smoked more than 2x in the past year, both times being at concerts. This is all kinda off topic, but im just trying to say, im a responsible kid, im not gonna do this for long, but im trying it out, and having a little fun.

seriously, i dont see why its such a big deal. Cigars are bad for you, but still much safer than cigarretes, and up untill recently, i would smoke maybe one cigar every month, and compared to my friends pack of cigarretes every couple days, id say im in great shape. now im smoking a bit more to see whats out there.

and i never said you have to smoke, im some random kid on the internet, what do you care.....

This was a topic for cigar smokers, id like to know what people prefer.

so far on my list for what to buy is:

COA, Maker's Mark, and 'Cauvacia' (but isnt that an alchohol?)

Edit: Courvoisier is the alcohol, im hoping flex was referring to something else....
