i smoked for about a year when i was like 15, about a pack a day, pall malls. didnt find it hard to quit, never really craved it.

it ****s with your head, you smell the smoke you see someone smoke it hits you and that is really tough to avoid sometimes then you think to yourself "do i wanna be like that again or a healtheir person?" then boom the craving is gone, that's how it's been for me, my last 2 months goin cold turkey.

How hard was it to quit??
I hear this people saying it is hell to quit once you are addicted.. I personally can't see it being so hard.. I see it more as a pyschological addiction where YOU THINK you can't do without it..

I still think about smoking to this day. I guess its like any addiction. it stays with you and weak mided people give in quicker to the temptations. I quit because my daughter 2 at the time picked up a cigarrette and was pretending to smoke and I decided that was it because I didnt want to continue the cycle like i picked up smoking from my mother. So i guess I had reason to quit.

yaeh man i feel ya, that nicotine will **** you up, i decided to quit cuz it was doin nothin to me that made me feel good, well maybe a little high for a good 5 minutes that's it, to be honest i tried smokin out of curiousity not cuz it was the cool thing to do.

i learned my lesson hard

It seriously is hard. You can say oh i dont think its bad but once your addicted its a ***** to quit. Its hard both physically and pyschologically.

People who smoke cigarettes, they say "You don't know how hard it is to quit smoking." Yes I do. It's as hard as it is to start flossing....."Hey man, you look tense." "Yeah I'm about to floss."

You havent been able to smoke in public places over here for a while now. You can smoke in restaurants and so forth.

Thats why long ago I switched to off brands. I buy USA Golds here in MD and WV. About $3.25 for a pack, vs $4.25+ for a pack of Camels or Marlboros. If you drive across the border to WV, you can get USA's for about $3.10 a pack! No way in hell will I spend $5.00 for some shitty Marlboros!

I quite frankly can't stand the taste of Marlboro Lights (taste like chemicals). USA Golds are much better tasting in my opinion, and less expensive.

Got a buddy that buys these cheap *** bags of tobacco, and rolls little pregnant spliff cigarettes with rolling papers cause hes poor. Taste disgusting. I would rather not smoke.

When he's totally out of tobacco, him and his girlfreind go to the local McDonalds, and pick out the cigarette butts from the ashtrays outside. They take them home, empty the tabacco, and roll more cigarettes! Gross!

Then he isnt buying the good papers or the good tobbaco. Hand rolled Cigs with good bagged tobbaco > Chem treated filtered cigs.

But obviously if he has to smoke 2nd hand tobbaco he cant afford good papers or tobbaco.
