I don't smoke cigs, but if say Weed was legal then the government could tax it instead and it would still be so much cheaper than how you have to buy it now. Just saying if weed were legal cigs would be cheaper as well.

I'm sure they would give weed a pretty hefty tax, because if it were legal, giant farms of females could be raised and it is actually a very hearty plant that can survive rough conditions and grow to be quite large. All depending on strain of course, but their are plenty of strains that grow quite big (10 feet + in ideal conditions) and are also very potent and considered the good stuff. What i am saying is that weed would be so cheap that they could tax it out its @ss and it would still be so much cheaper than it is now. So all you kiddies out their who want your cigs to cost less, when the big vote comes around in the next 10-15 years (its going to happen watch) vote For marijuana being legalized.

Don't smoke and never will.. Very disgusting habit IMO.. And I am glad the prices are going up.. Hopefully less people I will see smoking and more tax dollars spent on worthwhile things.. My college town and hometown have both passed smoking bans in the past 6 months. Can't smoke anywhere within 30 feet of a public building. I think everyplace should do it..

It should be unconstitutional for the government to try and effectively ban a legal product by increasing the taxes so high that its unaffordable.

Either ban cigs outright, or accept that as long as it remains legal, people have the right to smoke.

Eh i smoke and its a stress reliever. I think its retarded people think they have the ability to tell others how to live their lives. You arent me so dont try to control my actions. Anti-smoking campaigns are retarded and a waste of money. People will do what they want and its been proven when someone is constantly told not to do something their chances of doing it are greater than if they were told just a few times.

I smoke a good Cigar or something maybe once a month, and I dont inhale. Tobbaco doesnt actually relax you...infact the majority of it's chemicals are stimulants. However sitting on your *** and ******* on a stick of cancer does relax you if it taste good.

Cigs do not taste or smell or anything good.

Well, in louisiana, the liberal hippies decided it would be a good idea to put a smoking ban in effect, making smoking in public illegal. This will affect bars, restaurants, everything. Yeah, gay. So in rebellion, on new years, me and some buddies are going to the courthouse, a hospital, and a few other places at 12:01 to smoke in front of them and take pics... cuz bans ****.

I smoked for 14 years and havent smoked in 6 years(started @ 12 for those counting). You know I still smoke in my dreams though. wierd huh? but since i quit Im really sensitive to smoke it makes me sick.

I hear this people saying it is hell to quit once you are addicted.. I personally can't see it being so hard.. I see it more as a pyschological addiction where YOU THINK you can't do without it..

i do in my dreams too, just can't taste it or smell it, evn if i'm around smoke now since i can breathe easier and my sense of smell is back i can tell cig smoke right off the bat and it makes me cringe.
