CIA Engineering any good?

I've had good experiences with them. I have 2 Hifonics Colosuss and they repaired them, and with excellent turn around time. This was in the 2nd half of 06'.
They are or were who Maxxsonics recommends you send out of warranty Hifonics amps to or at least when I called them.

They(CIA) probaly have a better turn around rate with Hifonics b/c they have the schematics and parts on hand since they are recommended by Maxxsonics.(just my personal opinion and observation.)
and that explains why there are 22 hercules waiting for parts?

Last time i checked, Hercules are made by Hifonics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

I'm in no way trying to "explain" anything for CIA I'm just saying that my experience with CIA was a good one and also trying to offer some insight as to why mine was a good one, guess I was just lucky.

Not only that you started this thread, seems like you know the answer to your question.

it seems like he wants to use them, go ahead. like i have said, i have used them twice, the first time, excellent, sent, repaired and returned in right at 3 weeks, much faster than i expected. but this time, a totally different story. it has been there for nearly 3 months, which IMO is bad enough, but things like parts being slow or whatever happen. but when u get lied to over and over about "it will be done tues", "going out on monday" etc, it really gets under my skin.

I'm not trying to answer my own question to make me feel better.

I'm just trying to see how many people have had good experience since the last 6 months.....I will most likely not go their direction anyway, just based on the information i hear from this forum.......

So yours was a colossus huh?

He also told me that the expensivest repair from the colossus/hercules was a colossus with lots of damage already done to it. It costed $195......he said that was basically worst case scenerio.......

At the same time, The hercules are discontinued so maybe that's why they don't have the parts for the Hercules......

either way, i will most likely not be going in that direction.....
