Did anyone have good service wit CIA Engineering? I seen that thread about "Don't go to CIA Engineering", but i talked to them and seemed honest and reliable.

If they are not good, what other companies will definately get the job done for a Hifonics XX Hercules.......

so nobody had good service with them?

The reason i asked this

is because i had them repair my 1606, and they fixed it in a week, gotten it back the next day....... but this was last year. So im wondering if their service is lacking since that date....

its about time you fixed that ****ed avatar. i approve //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

and i dont know about last year, but cia dicked me around for a few months this year. wouldn't recommend sending them an amp.

how did you determine him to be "honest and reliable" by talking to him on the phone as opposed to 5 people just on one forum who have had very bad experiences with him?

lots of sellers complete atleast 75% of their transactions without error. yet are still slimy pieces of shit. you only find that out when you become one of the other 5-25%

but there also people who claimed they've had good experience with them. Like i said, i sent my bxi1606 to them last year in the summer, and i got it fixed after a week..... So I'm guessing they are falling off

I just called them again and asked how long would it typically take to fix a Hifonics-Hercules. You guys know what he said?

"THERE ARE CURRENTLY 22 HERCULES THAT ARE WAITING FOR PARTS, TO BE REPAIRED, THEN SHIPPED OUT"

thats probably why he has to lie to people for months on end telling them their amps are going out the next day, or waiting on parts, or magically blown up again and in need of complete rebuilds, or involved in 50 car pileups and being picked from the debris. he can't keep up with the repairs he's under contract to do.

I've had good experiences with them. I have 2 Hifonics Colosuss and they repaired them, and with excellent turn around time. This was in the 2nd half of 06'.

They are or were who Maxxsonics recommends you send out of warranty Hifonics amps to or at least when I called them.

They(CIA) probaly have a better turn around rate with Hifonics b/c they have the schematics and parts on hand since they are recommended by Maxxsonics.(just my personal opinion and observation.)
