I was kind of wondering the same thing. I went to walmart last night and they had one but I didn't snag it. Blue-ray is kind of a big reason why I want to buy it. How will we know which new technology will win though? Blue-ray, HD-DVD? I watched my friend play on his ps3 with his new flatscreen tv as well and the picture quality was amazing. He said it was running at 720 and it looked amazing for console games. I just want to see blue-ray on a really nice screen now =p.

it's all about the games... i think the PS3 is a better system, but XBox has the sweeter games.

If you dont have an HDTV then I wouldnt worry about picking up either systems. I played my xbox360 on my old crt tv the other day and the difference is night and day. I would say just pick up a regualr x-box or PS2 if you dont already have one.
