it looks like a receiver remote. If he has satalite it doesnt change the channel with the tv. . it does it on the receiver. On some cable boxes too.

first off it was a joke, and i know all about cable and satellie, i did work for directv for almost 2 yrs

my desk always stays that clean for about 20 minutes
and then it's covered with empty liter bottles of mountain dew and dr. pepper, and miscellaneous food containers, trash, receipts, ashes, coaster cd's, and random wires/cables/computer accessories

My wife gave me my main present a little early today. I am getting an alienware laptop in Feb. so i can take my computer with me, and this will be my monitor for that so i don't have to look at the small 17" wide display on it. but in the meantime, I'm using it here.

is that the viewsonic from costco, my freind picked on of those up too, pretty good deal.
