choices between subs

i am currently trying to decide between 2 different subs

alpine type r (200 dollars for 2

or re se ( 2 for 220

these subs are the 12inch, and i just want to know which one is better.

because i cant decide for myself.........

The Type Rs and SEs are both good subs, but the SEs will sound better in most types of setups while being just as loud.

RE SE's ftw....

I've heard both woofers. The RE SE defiinitely sounds a lot better and cleaner than they Type ARGHHHH and it will still get just as loud when you want it to.

I like the SE's since they do good on a low tuning.

I heard 2 12"s tuned to like 27Hz.

It was uber smooth
