they settled this place the same as we did. Depending on that you believe, homosapiens originated from either India or Africa. They may have found it first but nobody honestly believes anybody started life in this hemisphere. they are not native. We have more than made it up to them. They are poor because they choose to be. The tribe will pay for college if they choose to go. If many choose the easy life and collect a weekly/monthly check just for being them when it is only enough to survive is no fault but their own.
There are quite a few left. There are many people that have enough indian blood in them to get benefits. The problem is may records have been destroyed in floods, fires, tornados, or just lost. Before the digital age it paperwork disappeared you were SOL. Others had family that had integrity and pride so they didn't sign up for the Indian cards.

Agreed but if they got here first its was theirs. We just need to face the fact that we are all imigrants here. It made us great at one time, but we didnt know when enough was enough. There can always be to much of a good thing. We are still a young dumb country, untill we relize we dont know everything and stop making the same mistakes older countrys have made in the past we are desitined to fail.

All great countries have fought to expand. This means that they took what they wanted by force. We won the war. I am still trying to figure out way we didn't force them to asimilate in to the general public. I think out biggest mistake is we are one of the first countries not to bill for war reparations. All through history the loser of a war had to pay the winner what ever money they had left for the cost of battling them. For instance Japan attacked up. We spend a fortune in ships, men, and other supplies. Not mention the billions on the Manhattan Project. We smash them than pay to rebuild to help get them back on their feet so they can destroy are economy 40 years later. Rome fell because they got too big and couldn't police all the land they have taken.

The "successful" countries now have closed borders. Australia you have to be below a certain age (they don't want it to turn into Florida), no criminal record, and have a job lined up so you go to work from the git go. They farm alot of fruit so no matter what you what to do there to get a work visa you have to already have job lined up picking fruit for several months. Being water locked limits the illegal immagrants that are willing to work for nothing and take tetious jobs. I still believe that necessity is the mother of all invention. Somebody will come up with a way to get the crappy jobs done whether through increased pay, new techniques, or mechanical means. They happen to make you purchase your right to be there through manual labor. They aren't twisting anybodies arm to do it. They volunteer to do to get what they want.

My last tour I was in DC working on contract issues for the new class of aircraft carrier. You have NO idea how much we spend on dumb ****. Our military cost more then you could ever imagine. And while we are spending 7 months floating around the 120 degree gulf we cant keep the showers working. Its sad. Boots are on the ground and we cant get the HVs plated but we can spends hundreds on a pack of O rings.
