Chicken Thighs - Are they healthy?

So Im trying to lose some weight and just substitute shitty food with healthy food, but food that still fills me. And for the last week, chicken thighs have been a good, tasty alternative.

I found em at a local market, $10 for 10 nice sized thighs.

How healthy are they? Like is the skin healthy etc

I personally inspect every single one and trim off all the fat I can see, sometimes there is good sized chunks and flaps, it all gets cut off.

Heres how they turn out

I ate 6 of them today for lunch and dinner lol, only chicken nothing else.

Just curious how healthy they are.... especially with my fat trimmings etc. I back them @ 300 for 45 min, very little oil just to get the spices to stick and such

Suggestions?

also you got ripped.
bag of frozen boneless chicken breast(white meat) can be had for

Shit dude, dunno where you shop but thats a crazy deal, I think chicken breast was about $10 for 6

Ok, so these chicken thighs arent even healthy for me then eh, guess I wont be buy thing them anymore lol, I thought all chicken was healthy and me picking off the fat was gonna be a good meal. Thought the skin wouldnt be bad for you to......

SO chicken breasts are healthy? As healthy as boneless skinless?

DO chicken breasts have skin? and should it be removed.

For the guys saying to reduce calories etc, like i said, thats literally all I ate today was 6 of these thighs, about 2L of water, and a coke zero. Had I known the thighs were bad, they wouldnt have been eaten lol

Beer is my downfall

Shit I pay $10 for 3 a lot of times. Usually I stock up with buy one get one free comes around.

Boneless/Skinless is best but you can make them with the skin and just take it off if you want gives them a little more flavor and minimal fat.

I have never tried the bagged frozen ones but I might for some reason I just never thought they would taste as good as fresh but I guess it's worth a shot they are cheap as shit.
Yes I am talking about the bags of frozen. The fresh isnt that much better. Better, but not that much.

I cook 3 or 4 days worth in advance.

Thighs are cheaper than the breasts, but breasts are the best part because they have the most meat on them. Dark meat is nasty and seems way greasier than the white meat.
this is true plus there is more protein in the breast, but i prefer the thighs the way i cook em,good ole country style FTW

Stupidest thing I've heard all day.
Worst part of a chicken nutrient density-wise. Take a guess???
