I didn't get a chance to see it, but all the MMA fans seemed to have enjoyed it as well as the anaylists. Like I said, I didn't see it, just heard about it.the silva-liddell fight was one of the most boring fights i've ever seen...thats why i love the 155 weight class...all action
and GSP just dominated MH
I don't know wtf you were watching, but the fight I saw was far from boring //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifthe silva-liddell fight was one of the most boring fights i've ever seen...thats why i love the 155 weight class...all action

you think wand shoulda stuck with chute box or was it a good move to go out and get his own team? he really didn't look like the silva i'm used to watching...looks like he maybe gave too much respect to liddel's slugging abilityok, im not going to get into how most of these posters are idiots, but Silva was far from beat up...a very close first round, a dominant Silva second, and a chuck lay and pray after a weak flurry third (if you think that flurry was something, rewatch the fight, he threw 9 punches and connected with two). And to the guy above me...you can stop with the MMAth, it doesnt work...Silva>Rampage>Henderson>Silva, its a fuckin syntax error. Silva and his clinching are more suited in a cage than a ring anyways. I hate psuedo-UFC fans who think Liddell beat up some can, when W. Silva has a far better list of accomplishments in MMA.
That is exactly it, he respected Liddells KO power WAY too much, and yea, I think it was a good move with him getting out on his own. There were some things going on at Chute Boxe that was causing a lot of fighters to leave. I think Wand reached his max potential there and realized that he had to leave to get better. And like you said, it wasnt the normal Wand, but I think he just got caught up in everything. He will be back.you think wand shoulda stuck with chute box or was it a good move to go out and get his own team? he really didn't look like the silva i'm used to watching...looks like he maybe gave too much respect to liddel's slugging ability

Yea, you are right. I am not the guy who tries to defend a loss by some bullshit, if you leave it in the hands of the judges, it is your own fault. And it was 29-28, 30-27,30-27, but there is no way you can rewatch that fight and say it was a 30-27 fight. Liddell started watching the clock at 3:00 left in the third to stall after he blew his wad on trying to know Wand out, which I dont think is what a champion should do...you cant tell me Wand didn't stalk him until the very end.I hear what you are saying, but when it was said and done, Liddell came out on top, that is just how it is.
Also every judge had Liddell winning. I think one judge gave Wandy the 2nd round, but that was it.
I am not big on Rampage, but he is still young and those losses came way early in his career IIRC. Sometimes people, just like teams have their number and case in point with Wandy. Rampage has Chucks # and I don't see Chuck beating him anytime soon. I would like it to happen, I just don't think he has the gas to do it.
