I think I found my new amp! But I'd need a hell of a lot bigger amp to push it! Thats way more power than the JL amp.

you obviously misunderstood my post. you said the pg tantrum doesn't puts out half of its power at 4 ohms than at 2 ohms. and i said if that were the case then my amp would put out 2844 watts at 2 ohm but it doesn't because it reaches it's full power at 4 ohms. your the hater because you think that a smaller company can't make good amps and that if it's more expensive it has to be better.

Pg makes nice amps, the titianiums are some of the best. And the tantrums are pretty good to. ANd Thanks for telling me what i'm thinking. Thats a great way to show ignorance, even better than saying pg tantrum is just as good as jl.

please tell me when i said what you were thinking. you said that i said my amp puts out 2844 watts and i said it doesn't but thanks for being a smart *** and saying that i said something i didn't. you remind me of an ignorant high schooler. you think the more expensive it is it just has to be better. all high schoolers are badasses because they have jl audio and it cost them so much money it has to be good.

i got this amp in my jeep running 3 type R 12's and it pounds the crap out of them. the gain is bairly even turned up. i can run this amp for hours and it barely gets hot. this is one of the cleanest sounding amps that i have heard. i work at a car audio store and its the only amp that my store carries that is really clean sound. i would tell anyone that wants to power some good subs to get this amp.

Hey, i've got this hooked up to two 12L7's, and they slam! The signal stays clean, and, I've never even felt heat comin off of the amp. it stays cool all the time. mines rated at 1458.72 wrms at 14.25 vols. Overall, great amp. check my website to see the install

amps can "sound" better than others. my rf 1001bd would distort a lot quicker then my tantrum so there is a difference in sound quality. if there was none then the other dipshit who wants jl amps so bad is really getting his *** screwed because there is difference in sq then and he is paying so much more for something that puts out less watts. by the way if phoenix gold cuts corners like you said why do they warranty there amps for 1 year compared to 90 days by jl if it is installed by a non authorized installer? and jl's warranty only goes to 2 years if installed by an authorized dealer where as phoenix gold is 3 years? if a company was gonna cut corners they would lower there warranty. and i'm not saying jl cuts corners

i just looked up there website on amps and it said 2 years if installed by a authorized installer or something like that. i could care less about the warranty all i know is i would much rather pay half the price for my tantrum that puts out more watts than a jl 1000/1, and it is a quality amp but that's right it doesn't say jl on it and doesn't cost hundreds of dollars so it must not be any good then. ( this last statement was sarcasim)

Yep, those are the cheapest amps availible! You might want to throw Harrison Labs in there?
