Got my local newpaper today right.... this first thing i see in big bold letter is "COUNTY MAY TOUGHTEN NOISE ORDINANCE!" i was like omg.. anyways the main point is that the enforcement in my area is "using a soung meter to gauge the decibel level of sound emissions" i was like hell yeah free meter time! haha

their doing that around here now too. i believe it said if your system can be heard from over 300ft away they will confiscate it, and if its secured in a way it can't be easily removed your vehicle can be towed. i would hope they would just give a ticket before trying to rip your system out though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Hey, i got an idea, how about people stop being jackasses and stop playing loud music all the time. The reason people are getting so pissed is because assholes are driving around at all hours of the night blasting their stereos through neighborhoods and shit. Be considerate of others.

I like loud music just as much as the next person, but i save it for either the lanes or while i'm driving down main roads.(NOT through neighborhoods, and NOT at stoplights).

Well its a huge problem in my neck of the woods.. everyone drives my my house at 3 am beating out and waking me up! but i was like **** my area is gonna get a meter.. they better get a **** good one.... if not im gonna be pissed!

Well they obviously aren't going to get a term lab or even anything that resembles a lane meter...

Bascially it will be a meter that will gauge your distance from the officer and it will have a directinal mic taking the realtive db level and equate to that to the law in place.

we got that in my city too. Our noise ordinance law is very drastic, only 10 FEET! then you get ticketed. Luckily we don't get our systems confiscated, we only get a

$100 ticket

memphis tennessee just toughen their law but our ticket is only 50 dollars. i have forgot how far it is that you have to be, but i know that i can be heard for blocks.

i may be the one that everyone hates. i don't play my music at night, but i do play it loud everywhere else. if i am going to a friends house, i am beatin, going to work, i am beatin, comming in at night i am silent.

RIGHT ON JACK FROST!!!! I have never seen a Harley pulled over for being loud, my old neighbor had one and he would go to work during the summer with it and rev the engine at 5:00 in the morning! People say its just the way they are supposed to sound, well then my stereo is supposed to be heard down the road and over the hills too! I dont play my music late at night or in crowded areas, but motorcycles ride through them all the time!
