I found at a local shop a ported box that I want to try.

This are the box measurements (WXHXD) 32"X14"X17", and it has two slot ports in the middle that are 1.75"X11.5"X15"long.

i wouldnt touch it...its tuned like 40+. not good for a daily driver. just have someone here build one for you. iamamp3pimp, ionsql, there are a few others. they all do good work.

i just did the math...

3.41 cubes gross internal

3.07 cubes net after ports

its tuned at exactly 43.37 according to winisd. EWW.

and after sub displacement itll rise more.

same width and height but a bit deeper.

the port is plenty big and tuned to 32Hz.

Xluben you got a great looking box, it should sound pritty nice.

I think I will keep with my original idea of changing the 12s for a pair of 10s in there recommended ported enclosure. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif That will give me a box of approximately the same size as the one I have right now which is a wedge shaped enclosure.

Oh if it helps I'm running my trusty old shcool MTX 3002 Blue Thunder to power my subs.
