Don't get me wrong, I like Cadillacs. But to me, the Deville has been an old person's car since the late 70s. If it were a CTS or STS, I wouldn't have said a thing. Even the DTS and STS coupe would look good with wheels. But I think lifting ANY car is retarded, and 22s don't belong on a caddy IMO. To me, the point to getting bigger wheels is so the wheel gap is smaller, thus making it look like the wheels belong on the car. If you have to lift and cut to make the wheels fit, you go beyond the purpose of the mod IMO.
But yes, if you consider any Japanese car a ricer, then I suppose I drive a ricer (Mazda3 Hatch)

we have 2 different views. never said i like a monster lift on a car. just a nice lift. didn't cut anything on my caddy. just used those cheap lifters till i buy new springs and shocks.

Since he is asking for HONEST opinions.

Rims are nice, Car and build is nice, but im just not digging the rims in particular.

Something with flatter spokes would look good in my opinion.

But thats why they make 1000's of different styles of rims.

i think that the car is in great shape for its age from what i can see. its a classic in a few years. i also dont know why people are bashing a cady? i guess everybody dont like a comfortable ride. i have an 04 deville and have had it for about 8 years. i didnt put rims on it because im not much into being flashy but would consider if i was going to put it in shows or something.

Chill out people damm.. I'm just messin with you. The thread was getting a little too serious for my taste so I tried to lighten it up a little. No one got the cow bell remark in there or am I the only Will Ferrell fan in here?? Ok, the rims might not be perfect but I got them for a super deal so they are on there now and I really like the way the car looks. Apparently everyone has different tastes in cars, rims and everything else. If we didn't we would all be driving the same thing with the same rims and same audio systems, but we don't. Thats the beauty of customization. You can have your car look any way you want it to and if your not a fan of that then I don't know what to say.
