Does anyone know is there a download somewere on the net that would allow me to adjust the brightness of my monitor?

I have the brightness turned all the way up on my monitor, but when i'am watching movies on my comp most of the time there darker. And I can't see whats going on.

Any help is appreciated.

what kinda computer you have? if you have one with an nvidia card or integrated nvidia graphics then you can get the nvidia software and do all that.

You should be able to adjust the brightness within Windows Media Player if that's what you're using. Also, your video card may have an interface where you can change such settings.

AH yes my video card. I believe I have a nvidia. I will check it out.

adjusting just brightness will wash out the picture, adjust the contrast and black level as well

I cant seem to figure out how.
