Cheap way to lift 200+ LBS?

ok so my new box is almost done but i have one problem. the box fits just about perfectly into the back of my car so when i want to take out my plug it hits my stock strut bar in the back. now my idea is to stick the box on a platfor that can raise and lower itself. so if i can get the platform to raise above the strutbar and i put the box on a lazy susan i can turn it take out the plug turn it back and lower it back into my car without having to take the subs out and and undo everything. since my box sits over the whole where my spare tire used to go i figure i can stick something under there to lift it up. my question what can i use that is fairly in expensive to elevate my box (subs and all) out of the car so i can take out the port and then lower the box back in?

know how a pulley reduces work by increasing the distance over which the work is done? (or something like that...)

A block and tackle is a series of pulleys that *really* extends the length of the pulled rope...so you can lift engine blocks and such, just very slowly...

that would be the way I'd lift 200 lbs. into my vehicle...

yea but i want something that can stay in the car so if im out somewhere and someone wants to hear just how loud my system can get i can do it then and there. also i would attach the pullies to my hatch lid but when i took off on of my arms on my hatch the little nit on the otherside fell off inside of my car never to be seen again and you cant get to the whole to put on a new nut to the trunk hast to be proped open with a stick for the time being till i get some cash saved up. so anyone got any other ideas?

You could rig up a pulley system with servo's......put the servo's in the spare tire well and a few small but strong pulley's directly above the box. And find something strong but thin....like fishin' line as the "rope". Use a 3 position switch, up/down/off. Flip a switch and the servo's start to twist (out of site mind you) and the box magically rises up some, flip the switch the other way and the box lowers again.

get some 200+ lb linear actuators //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

not very cheap, though...may be cheaper to hire Sven, a 350-lb Norweigan powerlifting champ to sit in your trunk, and lift up your box on command.
