Eclipse subs dont ****. And people who enjoy them from actual experience cant just be labeled as a rep. Have you heard of any of your candidates?

Its one thing to share a positive experience with a productive/service, its another to completely spam the hell out of every sub thread that is remotely broad in its requirements.

I asked if he was a rep because his name is EclipseAudio and his sig is full of nothing but Eclipse parts. Also tested out a cheap Eclipse sub at Circuit City and it sucked. Tried on several amps and it was complete junk. But i will give it the benefit of the doubt and say that it could have just been its enclosure. I've had the chance to test out a very limited selection of subs because there are 3 different places to do so in my area. Best Buy, Circuit City, and a local shop. I heard some Diamonds and some JL's. They were both pretty nice but i know for a fact that you can get better deals that perform as well if not better. Nowhere around here to test many of the products I would consider. But thats ok. I bought my JL XR comps and they sound rediculously good and i never tested them before buying them. Kinda just had to trust you guys:veryhapp: I'm still leaning towards the RSD because of alot of the reviews I read about them. For me SQ > SPL. But a good mixture of both is always nice.

b-stock motors, new softparts, 8 ohms DCR makes it hard for car audio. Best when used in pairs or quads to get 4 ohms / 2 ohms

I think you're confusing the AA Arsenal with the Assassin. I've been using the Arsenal 12 for around eight months and I still love it. That being said, the Arsenals are around twice the price of the Assassins.

The entire line of AA drivers are being revamped and the old ones are out of stock. That kinda rules out the Assassin at the moment.

I've yet to hear anything but glowing reviews about PG Rsd so you're definitely leaning in the right direction.

Or its mostly trying to reason with crazy people. Im not spamming the threads but some of these are ridiculous. As a forum i have right to do that... Right? I see it as people just spamming their opinions on subwoofers they never heard!

wow those tc-7s are ubercheap. Whats the deal with em?

they have lousy low end unless placed in a huge box. Alot of people like them for home theatre setups though

I was pretty impressed with the RSD 12" i listened to. It was in a 2ft^3 box tuned to 33hz. Lets just say it sounded like there was more of an expensive subwoofer inside the trunk. Its not going to have incredible output but a decent amount while sounding good. Same i should say of the tc 9 but will get louder.

just for the sake of dragging this on. You have to use some reasoning. Your the only one that complained about me in the thread, the only one with something negative. Would i just say it to the OP whom im actually trying to help? Then who else, who else would i suggest im talking about?

back on topic, i noticed you said you drive a neon. i have my maw 15 in my 2 door neon. they fit no problem. max box height for me would have been 17 inches tall back where the rear speakers are. i could fit an 18 if i build the front of the box higher than the rear if you understand what i am saying. i still have over half of my trunk as well. fyi.

It's only has a lousy low end if you don't know how to use it...just like any other subs with those similar ts parameters. Put them in a Tapered transmission line and you will be amazed.
