Cheap sub setup

I have a 1987 Lincoln Continental, and I bought a Panasonic cq-8100u to replace the stock stereo, and some infinity reference 6012i speaks for the front, and some Polk ex693a's for the back. The bass is what you would expect with 6 1/2s and 6x9's but I need more. I listen to alot of rap and trance and love as much bass as I can get. And btw I love the sound of sealed boxes, for anyone that might say that for bass I want to go ported. I can get a package over at sonicelectronix.com with 2 MA Audio MA120QS 12" subwoofers, a MA Audio M689I amp, and a dual chamber sealed box for $199. Is this an ok combo? I dont expect to be heard from blocks away but would like to be able to have nice bass that can turn heads but yet still play clear for some of the new age stuff I listen to.

I am very tight on money and after shipping, and wiring, this falls right into my budget. And I know I can probably get better for only this much or that much more, but I do not have a job so I do not run into money unless I do computer jobs and I have been too busy with family to do any. So with shipping, 8ga wiring, box, subs, and amp my total would be about 260.

If not this setup than I am open to anything, just as long as it isn't ebay. I refuse to do ebay due to past mishaps, and them suspending my account with 100% positive reviews after they claimed I didn't pay my sellers fees. my bank statement says I did, lol. But back on topic, I will buy refurb, or anything else, but the price has to include the amp, pre fab box, sub(s), wiring, and shipping for no more than $280

Might want to look into getting one of those 12'' and get just a single sealed box or a single ported box and get a monoblock amp to power them. Like the Hifonics BX605http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3490.html or if you want MA audio http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_2680.html.

and for wiring check out knukonceptz.com. Best Buy and Circuit City will charge 80-100 for an 8 gauge kit. Knukonceptz will sell you a 4 gauge kit for ~$40 shipped. Lower gauge=more power handling capabilities.

Or look for an Alpine Type R, can be found for roughly $105 on the internet and get an amp to push at least 500 rms to it and a single sealed box. You'll bump nice and loud then while still maintaining good sound quality. Hope this helps good luck with your setup

Thanks for the reccomendation. I definately like what you showed me. I was thinking of a Hifonics BX605 amp from ikesound.com, a box (depending on the sub(s), 4ga wiring from knukoncepts.com. That all comes to about $200, now all I need is a subwoofer/woofers for under $80. I guess I could buy from ebay if it is necessary. The $80 must include shipping. If you would reccommend a different amp then please let me know. Thanks

Just a FYI the Kicker 2 for 1 sale is also the same price at any local circuit city and you wouldn't have to pay shipping. It goes until September 3. If you were interested in those.
