Cheap Laptop screens?

A 'friend' of mine broke the screen on my laptop. anyone know where i can find a screen for a decent price..all ive seen is 550.00 ish....its a Sony Vaio PCG- TR1A

any help would be greatly appriciated

That's probably the best you're going to do.

When the screen goes, unless you have a spare laying around it's new laptop time.

i ahve no intention in buying a new laptop. this ones not very old..an its well over 1000 dollar laptop..just lookin for a replacement screen.

some ***** picked it up by the screen..an put a nice crack in it..cant really see anything on it..ive got it hooked up to my moniter now.. but i cant prove it was her so..i gatta pay for it

use a stun gun then she cant prove you did anything...just like you cant prove she broke your screen

My best advice to you is to find out what other model Sony Vaio laptops share that particular screen. Then check on ebay for one of those laptops that are being sold with a broken motherboard or something. They tend to go much cheaper than what you would pay for for just the screen itself.
