Gimmie Some Sugar Baby!!!
Anyone know of a good cheaper amp that will do 2000 rms at 2 ohms? I want to buy two of them.
Eventually I want to put two 12" Fi BTL's on 2k each. There is easier ways of accomplishing the power you need. What subs are you going to be pushing?
How well does your AQ2200D perform at 1 ohm? Just curious.well i say 2 aq2200d amps. but u'd want to run those at 1ohms. so maybe out of the question for u.
Please correct me if I'm wrong just cause I've been under this impression for a long time. But at 1 ohm doesn't an amp produce more heat than efficiant power?go with 1 ohm, its cheaper power.
i dont got one. my friend has 2 HDC3 12's on 2 of those amps and they perform very well they dont get very hot or anything. made very well!! just gotta have the electrical for em!How well does your AQ2200D perform at 1 ohm? Just curious.
^^ very true!go with 1 ohm, its cheaper power.
well as far as i no if the amp is 1ohms stable there shouldn't be any problems. its built to be wired that way so it shouldnt get to hot but it should produce efficient power. Please correct me if I'm wrong just cause I've been under this impression for a long time. But at 1 ohm doesn't an amp produce more heat than efficiant power?
Wrong, the thd is higher at 1 ohm, but its not audible. Please correct me if I'm wrong just cause I've been under this impression for a long time. But at 1 ohm doesn't an amp produce more heat than efficiant power?
im pretty sure u sir r rightno...not in that aspect. At 1ohm it is more of a strain on your electrical system, it does tend to get a lil warmer, and there is more distortion but really not enough to make a difference...
someone correct me if i am wrong
