has anyone ever used these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1800-Watt-Pair-15-Inch-Subs-New-Acoustic-Subwoofers-NR_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742Q2em153Q2el1262QQcategoryZ38647QQihZ025QQitemZ380082891639

i just won one for 12.50 last week lol so i decided to try it out

for lack of mdf and time right now i used a 2.5 cuft cardboard box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

but this thing moves pretty good off of 160 watts little under half its rated rms

i was thinking if i could get 3 more for cheap that i would do a semi-wall

i wouldnt do a full wall because i need to see out the back window.

i have about 14 cuft but if i needed to i could go up to 15 net after outer dims.

id like to tune to 30 hz, win isd says it should be ~33 inches long for 160 in^2 port area. so after port, driver and bracing displacement im left with 10 ft^3.

would 2.5 cuft be enough for each 15?

as for power i would use one of my sundown 1500's so thats no issue.

what would you guys suggest for improvements

oh yeah and the only info i have is on the ebay page

.. the box lists the same thing

nothing else :/

so i cant really do anything more in win isd

Cliff Notes:

i have a cheap 15 thats rated at 450 rms

i want to get 3 more and do a small wall

would 2.5 cubes be enough per sub?

it will be tuned to 30hz

haha yeah

i dont believe the 450 either

i was gonna try this one out first in a 2.5 cube tuned to 32 or 35 and just play with the power till i find its happy spot

oh haha and update on the cardboard box lol i ported it with a 3 inch dia carboard tube loll

theres not alot of port noise.. but since the box isnt braced lol the port moves ALOT

wow, look at those. those are poop. i cant see them taking much more than 100w. i doubt they are even an actual sub. look more like a woofer. i wouldnt waste the money.

because i just feel like it?

lol

and itll cost me basicly nothing

except for time building the box

and its just a thought i was playing around with im still not 100% sure ill do it

its only cost 12 bucks so far soo i dont think i wasted much

sorry if i like to think out loud :p

i heard 2 12s in a cheap *** ported box built like shit in a camaro off of a power acoutik 1200 or something.. probably more around 3-400 watts and they moved a little air for being so cheap but they sounded like garbage and popped obviously when you turned it up at all.. Garbage IMO.. but hell for 5-10 bucks a sub.. go for it to have some fun..
