Wow...can't believe this is just now hitting the forums.

Those subs/brand has been in 12Volt News for awhile.

I looked em up months ago, that sub seems to be the only decent sub them make....IIRC, they have a sub w/ a 'claw' basket too. There amps look like a joke though, alot of knock-offs.

Wow...just looked at the pdf.

The knocked-off JVC, Pioneer, DD, Powerbase, volfenhag, kole (funny they knock-off a brand that knocks-off other brands...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif).

FWIW- cadance uses that exact frame..

the black motor in the back looks similar as well:) (and yes, i know that means little)

and yea, i admit... they do look very similar but thats the same with alot of products out there.
Well... I have a dismantled DD 9500G motor right here with me. I've had six other DD subs... and I've measured T/S on the sub in question and the DD subs.

With that being said this motor IS the DD 9500G motor without the horizontal top plate vent channels, and may or may not have the vertical pole piece channels (didn't cut it down).

It has the cross drilled pole, in the same places and the same number, it has the vertical top plate vent channels, it has the same height / winding material coil, it has nearly identical T/S specs except for the suspension is actually stiffer than DD.

It is extremely close to a DD 9500G and was their best effort at copying a 9500G. With 9500G soft parts it would be darn near the same as the 9500G except for the aforementioned lack of horizontal top plate vent channels.

... and remember, I have noted glue joint QC issues, so these aren't miracle subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so all i have to do is buy this sub then get it reconed and it should still be cheaper than buying a regular DD? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
I'd like to know if it has the vertical pole channels... my guess is that it does as those are fairly important for making the cross drilled pole vents work properly. It must have been too costly to machine the horizontal vents across the top plate, though.

If it does have the vertical channels the motor is about 95% as good as the 9500G motor... only lacking the small added cooling benefit of those horizontal channels.
