Cheap comps....

I might be looking into getting new comps and was wondering what you all would recommend...I want something cheap, mostly looking on ebay, maybe around 50-70 a set....

I was looking at soundstream, audiobahn(I know but they are cheap), maybe kicker...

Any suggestions..? I want to go with 2 sets so all in all under 200 for both sets...

Appreciate the help...

Are you looking for a second set to go in the rear as well? if you are, its not really nesesary. the fronts will work fine alone. many people like the sound of just front speakers better anyway, and it gives you more of a budget for the set.

Personally though, id like to know the best bang for the buck comp set for when i go shopping.....

That is what I was trying to figure out...I have a MOMO comp set and some 6.5" polk coax's also, but I am glassing my door panels and already have the forms made for 6.5's...I plan on selling all of the plks and running with something different this time...I do know that running a front set up is more SQ oriented so that's what I plan on doing, plus I don't drive in the back seat anyways...

Just looking for a good set that would be of good quality so I can buy some...

Appreciate it, any other comments..?

I hear one of the most bang for your buck component systems out right now would be the Phoenix Gold Xenons. I have yet to hear them but you can pick them up for around 80 bucks at most online stores. I plan on going to Ikesound personally since its only a 15 minute drive from my house and they have them there for $80 i think with a 1 year warranty.

indoaudio = a no no

Just curious why? Both my amps come from them and I also got a set of DLS speakers a while back from them plus my Pioneer head unit. All new in the factory boxes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I saw them on there for pretty cheap, I just want something that will last me....

I wouldnt mind to have those Alpines but I want to be able to order 2 sets at one time, instead of trying to find another set...

I think I might go with the PG's...

im glad you've had good luck, but alot of people havn't, broken items, wrong items, no items. ontop of that they wont refund you and will try and screw you out of even making a claim. i could be thinking of the wrong company, but i dont think i am. there is a whole webpage dedicated to the scam. i'll try and find it.

EDIT: found it! http://www.indoaudio.net/index.html also just do a search on them and see how many bad things you find

Wow! I would have never known that. They do have a lot of negatives but they have a high volume. I have only one negative on mine: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=bad87t&ssPageName=STRK:ME:UFS and believe it or not it was an audio piece. It was a set of MB Quart tweets that the guy just would not pay for after winning them. His final lie was that I lied about having Pay-Pal. I come to the conclusion you can't make everyone happy unless you bend over and hand them the Vaseline jar! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif I got that amp in my feedback quickly just like the other stuff. I used Pay-Pal though which should help if things go wrong. Higher volume seller have an incredibly hard time staying at 100% positive.

as someone else said the xenons are great bang for the buck they really sound nice for the price of them... the cadence as said also for the money are very nice and powerbass has some uber cheap comp sets that are great for what you can buy them for,,,again for the budget these are great choices...
