What model MTX 12s? (they make several different models) and what is their voice coil configuration? (single voice coil? dual? what ohms impedence is each coil?)

To be able to suggest an amp we need a little bit more information from you about your gear before we could make an educated recommendation. YES We know that. But what are the subs..Dual voice coil, single voice coil, 4 ohms or 2 ohms?

Anywho its a 10” dual 4ohm subwoofer with a max RMS power rating of 225watts. I've got a used Rockford Fosgate Punch 100ix DSM I'd sell for $150 shipped if you want it. It's rated at 420watts x1 @ 4ohm, which would be perfect for your subs.

i had those subs, and ran a profile "california" amp i think it was the CA1200 or something, it was like 200 watts per channel, powered them nicely

EDIT: they're 99 dollars on ebay

i need an amp that 400watts at 4ohm or 1 ohm, check out some cheaper 2ch amps. my GF picked up a SONY( i know i know, i didnt know a whole lote back then) for $200 Canadian. so thats like 160US. it does a pretty good job powering her subs.
