How do you shut em up?

My gf will talk hours on end about stuff I don't give the slightest care about. And I can't get in a word edgewise to at least make it a conversation. Sometimes, I will literally lay my phone down for 30 seconds and pick it back up and she will still be talking.

So, what do you do to keep people from flapping their gums endlessly?

im jealous. my gf will talk on the phone allllll day. i despise talking on the phone. it is a tool for communication. Not leisure. I just want the facts.

yeah, it just means i have to read and type 10000s of text messages on the days i don't see her though... it blew up my phone bill when i first met her. i had to get unlimited texts after that, haha...

Next time she does this, begin a long and never endless rant about your car's audio system. Tell here all the specs, the power your using, the wattage that each piece is getting, everything that you can think of. Make it last a while.
