chassi ground.. can it be the neg?

hey guys, im making a stereo in my room, but my amp doesnt have a +/- input for the power, just a +/chassi ground, so can i put the negative wire into the chassi ground?

the negative wire is the ground, so yes they are the same, and you can stick it in there
