I know there are drain holes, but I have put many crossovers in my doors and not once have I ever had a problem with water getting to them.Uhhhhh.....???
Why did you put 2 sets of cheap components instead of one better set?
Your supposed to cover all the holes in the door panels with the deadening material, and seal all the back sound waves of the speaker from reaching the front.
You need to move the crossovers out of the door. All doors leak, it's normal, that's why they have drain holes. Your crossovers won't last long in there.
depends where in the door they are at and if there is a way to stop water from flowing down on them i would imagine it wouldnt be that hard to do...thing is condensation can be a mother and if you wrap them in plastic how much would heat become an issue?I know there are drain holes, but I have put many crossovers in my doors and not once have I ever had a problem with water getting to them.
I currently have my rsd's in there and work perfectly fine and I have been through some major storms.
That doesn't really address why you used 2 sets when you simply could have gotten one better set for the price you paid for 2 sets.Because of all the hype I heard with these and how they are the best for the money.
