changing wiring when inverting subs?

If you have more than one sub, you have to make sure they're wired so they play in phase with each other. Therefore, if you had one inverted and one not, then they would have to be wired in opposite polarity. If all the speakers are mounted the same way, you don't have to do anything special with the wiring.

I'm going to invert my subs with my new box and supposedly it will sound a little different if you reverse the polarity...so try it and whatever sounds better, do that one...lol

switching wiring when you invert subs makes no difference /thread

as long as they are wired in phase there is no difference.. only difference you will see is the box will be slightly bigger because of the subs no longer being in the box

my old box - subs inside box mounted regularly 150.0

Subs inverted- 150.0 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif same freq same everything
