Changing Oil...

You ladies should try pulling a transmission to change out the clutch... or maybe try doing your own brakes....

I would understand if that would be too much tho, since you might break a fingernail... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/ponder.gif.ec2527b23f1d287b60dcbba54f95edba.gif

With a little help from a buddy of mine I just changed my springs and struts. Have done breaks before and soon will be putting legend calipers and new rotors on as well.

Have also helped changed the clutch out of an escort with nothing but the haynes manual. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

YES

having access to a full garage>*

I haven't changed my oil since I worked at Midas years ago. My dad runs that shop still and he just lets me drop our cars off and he has all day to do them, when he finds time. He has never charged us either. Is nice and I even offer to do it, but he tells me it's no big deal. Saves us a lot of money as my girl goes through oil changes like crazy as she drives 1 hour to work and back.

Doing a late 80's F-150 tomorrow.

First job I ever did at a shop was a clutch on a dirty, but not beat up, full size Ford Bronco w/4wd. lol, that sucked for a first day.

X2. People don't believe me when I say I'm 17 and am converting my car from an automatic to a 5-speed

Why even change the oil? I just pop the hood and stand around my car, makes me feel like a badass.

x2

lmao. I change my own brakes, spark plugs, brake lines, oil filters, etc.

All the "external engine work" and sattelites, I do.

My dad has helped me on the things that require two people like lifting the engine out and stuff but all the linkage I do. I also use this site for helphttp://www.garage-scene.com/t5-into-ag-body/ and an el camino forum I'm on.
How much does that cost?

I was thinking of changing my Auto Mustang to a Manual. >_>

I want something to do with I drive my sixbanger //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
