I own a 4th so I know lol.My accord is easy as hell. I've never had a serious problem with any hondas. Maybe when some idiot stripped the head on the drain bolt during the last oil change or overtightened the filter but never one that was hard due to design.

True. my 6th gen takes about 15 minutes with drain and fill

I change mine because it's cheaper and I don't trust people working on my car. I'm afraid of it getting scratched or some idiots don't change oil filters to be cheap

Done it twice now, once in dads truck, other in my van. Truck didnt need to be jacked up, but was piss to get off. Van was cake, but i had to jack it up to get under it.

I dont feel any manlier now that i have oil stained under my fingernails.

Shit I usually pay about 15-17 bucks for an oil change and that is with castrol syn-blend. I usually buy a little better filter but I only change mine every 4-5k.

o'riley or autozone specials ftw.

Yeah. A lot of people have marked their filter with a sharpie before getting it changed and once in a while the filter is the same one
