changing music preference

When i was young i listed to oldies and modern rock then i started listening to only rap now i hate most new rap artists that are more hip hop than rap. So i'm asking for opinions on other genres of music. I listen to jazz alot recently and also slow songs R&B and old mo town. I also find myself listening to songs with less vocals now. What im curious is to know if others feel this way too... i just get tired of listening to the same old crap.

Anybody have any artist/songs that may be interesting?
